Today, I want to share with you the most important message you’ll ever hear—the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that God created us to be in relationship with Him. But sin, which is disobedience to God’s will, broke that relationship. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We’ve all missed the mark, and the penalty for our sin is death, both physical and spiritual. Romans 6:23 declares, “For the wages of sin is death.”
But here’s the good news: God loves us so much that He made a way to restore that broken relationship. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and willingly went to the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.
Through His death, Jesus took our punishment upon Himself. And three days later, He rose from the dead, proving He has power over sin and death. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Now, this free gift of salvation is offered to anyone who will receive it. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Salvation is not something we can earn through good works, but it’s received through faith in Jesus Christ.
So, what do you need to do? Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” It’s as simple as repenting from your sins, turning to Jesus, and trusting in His finished work on the cross.
Friends, this is the Gospel—the good news that Jesus Christ has done what we could never do for ourselves. Today, He invites you into a new life with Him, free from the guilt and shame of sin, and full of the hope of eternal life.
Will you respond to Him today?
